The right to return a citizen of Ukraine from the Russian Federation is guaranteed by Article 33 of the Constitution of Ukraine, so you cannot be denied admission to Ukraine.
Unfortunately, most of Ukraine’s borders are currently under hostilities, so we recommend that you return to Ukraine via any other country bordering Ukraine except Russia and the temporarily occupied territories.
As of today, Ukraine has no control over the checkpoints at these checkpoints, and therefore your legal return to Ukraine is not possible.
