Do we remind you who can take a child abroad during the war?
Border crossing rules for children under 16:
the child may be accompanied by one of the parents, grandparents, adult brother, sister, stepmother, stepfather, or other person authorized by one of the parents;
to leave accompanied by one of the parents, grandparents, adult brother, sister, stepmother, or stepfather, there must be documents confirming the family ties of the accompanying person with the child (birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.);
notarized consent of one of the parents to the child’s departure abroad is required in the case of the child’s departure accompanied by a person who is not one of his parents, grandparents, brother, sister, stepmother, or stepfather.
The certificate can be certified by the bodies of guardianship and trusteeship of local self-government bodies.
