☑️ On May 27, 2022, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On the peculiarities of the lease of state and municipal property during martial law” was adopted, which came into force on June 1, 2022.
The resolution provides for the provision of benefits in the payment of rent, which are as follows:

For the period of martial law and for three months after its termination or abolition, but until December 31, 2022, under lease agreements of state and municipal property, valid as of February 24, 2022 or concluded after that date as a result of auctions held on February 24, 2022 year or earlier, tenants of state and municipal property are exempt from rent:
natural persons and natural persons – entrepreneurs who were called up or accepted for military service after the declaration of martial law;
who use property located in administrative-territorial units, within which the access of users to the unified and state registers, which are held by the Ministry of Justice, is terminated under martial law;
For the period of martial law, but not longer than September 30, 2022 under lease agreements of state property, valid as of February 24, 2022 or concluded after that date as a result of auctions held on February 24, 2022 or earlier, tenants are exempt from rent who use the property placed:
in the territories of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv regions andKyiv (except for administrative-territorial units in certain territories);
in cultural and educational institutions, if the leased object was leased on an hourly basis;
For the period of martial law, but not longer than May 30, 2022 under lease agreements of state property, valid as of February 24, 2022 or concluded after that date as a result of auctions held on February 24, 2022 or earlier, tenants are exempt from rent who use the property located in the territories of Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Odessa regions;
For the period of martial law and for three months after its termination or cancellation under lease agreements of state property in force as of February 24, 2022 or concluded after that date as a result of auctions held on February 24, 2022 or earlier:
tenants of unified property complexes (their structural subdivisions), in addition to those specified in subparagraphs 1 – 3, the rent is charged at 75% of the rent established by the lease agreement (taking into account its indexation);
to tenants, except for those specified in sub-items 1 – 3, the rent is charged in the amount of 50% of the amount of rent established by the lease agreement (taking into account its indexation);
tenants in the territories defined in subparagraphs 2 and 3, the rent is charged at 50% of the rent established by the lease agreement (including its indexation) after September 30, 2022 and May 30, 2022, respectively, and until the end of the period specified in paragraph the first of this subparagraph.
